Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 18 April 2026

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of taxfalcon.co.uk and any accounting, tax, or advisory services provided by Tax Falcon ("we", "us", "our"). By using our website or engaging our services you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. About us

Tax Falcon is a UK-based accounting and tax advisory firm providing services to individuals and businesses. Specific service terms, scope, fees, and responsibilities are set out in an individual engagement letter issued to each client, which takes precedence over these general Terms where there is any conflict.

2. Use of our website

The content on this website is provided for general information only. It does not constitute professional advice and should not be relied upon as such. We make reasonable efforts to keep information accurate and up to date, but make no warranty, express or implied, as to its accuracy or completeness.

You agree not to use this website in any way that causes, or may cause, damage to the website or impairment of its availability, or in any way which is unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful.

3. Our services

We provide services including, but not limited to, bookkeeping, accounts preparation, corporation and personal tax, VAT, payroll, and advisory services. The specific services we will deliver for you, along with their scope and any deliverables, will be set out in a written engagement letter.

4. Client responsibilities

To enable us to deliver services effectively, you agree to:

  • Provide complete, accurate, and timely information and records.
  • Respond promptly to our requests for clarification or documentation.
  • Comply with your own legal and regulatory obligations, including filing deadlines set by HMRC and Companies House.
  • Complete identification and anti-money-laundering checks as required under the Money Laundering Regulations 2017.

We are not liable for any loss arising from inaccurate, incomplete, or late information provided by you.

5. Fees and payment

Fees are set out in your engagement letter and may be fixed, hourly, or on a retainer basis. Unless otherwise agreed, invoices are payable within 14 days of issue. We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue amounts under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998, and to suspend services where payment remains outstanding.

6. Confidentiality

We will treat all information received from you as confidential and will not disclose it to any third party without your consent, except where disclosure is required by law, by a regulator, or by a professional body to which we belong.

7. Data protection

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), and the Data Protection Act 2018. By engaging our services you acknowledge that we may process personal data about you and your representatives for those purposes.

8. Intellectual property

All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, and branding — is owned by or licensed to Tax Falcon and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may view and download content for personal, non-commercial use only. Reports, templates, or deliverables we produce for you remain subject to the terms of your engagement letter.

9. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any liability which cannot be lawfully excluded.

Subject to the above, our total aggregate liability to you arising out of or in connection with the services will not exceed the total fees paid by you to us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or loss of profit, business, goodwill, or anticipated savings.

10. Professional indemnity insurance

Tax Falcon maintains professional indemnity insurance in accordance with the requirements of our professional body. Details are available on request.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate an engagement by giving reasonable written notice, or immediately where the other party is in material breach of these Terms or the engagement letter. On termination, fees for work carried out up to the date of termination remain payable.

12. Complaints

We are committed to providing a high-quality service. If you are unhappy with any aspect of our work, please contact us at info@taxfalcon.co.uk so we can try to resolve the matter. If we cannot resolve it, you may be entitled to refer the complaint to the relevant professional body.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page with a revised "last updated" date. Continued use of our website or services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
